Secret Garden Wedding

An outdoor garden wedding can be quite beautiful, using many natural elements to add magical decor to your special day. Here are a few great ideas for this theme, that really capture and take it all that is mother nature.

These beautiful cakes both really capture the outdoor elements. They really show how bold and subtle you can go with this theme. You can use just a dash of green with keys to your secret garden. Or jump all into this theme with a complete woodland Midsummer's Night Dream cake. Just be careful when using these natural decorations, no one wants dirt in their slice of cake.

An outdoor wedding really gives you unique options that you could not do inside, or shouldn't do inside. Take this moment of celebration to release into the world something beautiful. Let balloons float away, release beautiful butterflies or doves (safely) or whatever you would like that really represents the two of you.

Set up fun outdoor games for your guests! You may even want to customize the games to represent, or look like, you. This will be great during cocktail hour while guests are waiting for the reception to begin.

Subtle decorations and centerpieces are really all you need. Let the outdoor elements really shine instead of using over the top decorations. These subtle and beautiful decorations will be easy to set up and can definitely be used, or planted, again.

Choose a unique bouquet that really brings in mother nature. These two bouquets are great examples of just this. The butterflies really do bring in the beauty of nature, and I just love this wildflower bouquet. It truly looks like the bride picked these beautiful flowers from a garden nearby right before she walked down the aisle.
