Confessions of a Groom Part 1

He looked so confident and assure of himself as he popped the question, said his vows and twirled you around the dance floor, but what was he really thinking??
I spoke to a few grooms about their favorite moments, funniest memories and what was REALLY going on in their head from the proposal to when they said I do.

Ok Guys, what was going through your head during the proposal?? (this also happened to be some of the funniest moments)

Eric- Well Jennifer, the funniest moment also happens to be the proposal (yes this is my fiance, I had to get his perspective!) The plan was for us to go to dinner with both of our parents at our favorite restaurant in downtown Phoenix, Cibo.

Well you just weren't going to make it easy. After coming back to the restroom I moved my chair away from you, to get a little room to kneel.  In true Jen form you immediately asked me why I had moved my chair away. Finally drinks came and I raised my glass to toast to all the great things in our life and one  more thing. But before I could make my great speech I hear next to me, "Let's make a toast" yep that was you... trying to steal the moment. But don't worry I was able to pop the question even with an interrupted toast and squishy leg room. (I said yes in case you were wondering)

Mikey- The funniest moments for me were my botched attempts for a proposal. This started with my wife being too tired to go to the view point in Costa Rica that night. So I then decided to place the ring on the plate of chocolate covered strawberries. I got out of the shower to discover that someone ate them all...

RJ- I had planned to propose to my fiance Vanessa at my graduation celebration in front of all our friends and family. Prior to my proposal my Dad was giving a thank you speech to all those that attended my graduation lunch. Little did I know that my dad's speech would be 15 minutes long! As I was standing behind him it took everything in me not to pass out from anticipation or look like I was holding back the biggest bowl movement of all time.
